"Cable Protector" is a Dynamically Positioned (DP) State-of -the-art Deep Burial Cable Laying Barge. The barge is designed to be deployed for shore end installation work and shallow water operations.

	Main Information *Click for bigger image A special-purpose trenching injection (Injector) system is used for cable burial of up to a burial depth of 10 meters in soft mud. The barge is also fitted with a RockSaw trenching system capable of trenching 0.4 meter wide/4.5 meters deep in hard seabed conditions. The excavation methods in hard seabed include dredging, ripping and blasting.
