ASEAN Cableship Pte. Ltd. (ACPL), a leading provider of sub-sea cable repair and maintenance services, has identified occupational health, safety and the environment (HSE) as key areas in its sphere of operations that are of paramount importance and need to be effectively controlled to prevent injury, ill health, loss of life, pollution and degradation of the environment.

To meet this requirement, ASEAN Cableship Pte. Ltd. (ACPL) is committed to:

  • Comply to relevent HSE legal and other requirements
  • Continually improve its HSE performance throughout its business operations
  • Provide effective HSE protection programmes that ensure the safety of all involved in the business both ashore and on board the cable laying barge
  • To conserve natural resources and minimize release of pollutants to air and water
  • To minimize disposal of waste by adopting 3R (Reduce, Reuse & Recycle) principles
  • To make all personnel more HSE conscious and encouraging all to become actively involved in identifying possible hazards, implementing corrective and preventive actions and constantly monitoring all facets of their working environment to ensure HSE conditions prevail
  • To fully investigate all HSE incidents
  • To provide HSE related training and competency programmes on the journey on to HSE excellence
